About

Together with Agnieszka Habraschka, you will dive into a different sense of time!
Time is often seen as something absolute – efficient, productive, structured. But for many disabled people, time works differently: it is flexible, unpredictable, and adapted to individual rhythms. This concept is called Crip Time and describes how disability and chronic illness shape time perception and time management. However, Crip Time goes beyond this and questions the capitalist and normative ideas that exist about time. Crip Time opens up new possibilities to think, live, and shape time differently.

This empowerment training is aimed at consultants, cultural workers, and artists with disabilities who want to learn about Crip Time, reflect on their own time-related needs, and develop creative strategies for self-determined, sustainable working practices together.

The training will take place in a Relaxed setting. This means that all forms of attention are welcome in the room. You can move, lie down, bring and use your stim toys, leave the room and come back. Various seating options will be available (beanbags, chairs, mats), as well as drinks and snacks.

Costs

The event is free of charge and exclusively for people with disabilities. Registration is required. Please provide details about your access needs.
