In our 130 square meter studio in Cologne, we strive to offer the greatest possible accessibility

Spatial Accessibility

  • Our studio is at ground level and accessible with an automatic door opener
  • Barrier-free bathroom with shower and toilet incl. a toilet hoist
  • Barrier-free access to the garden via a lift (there may be restrictions depending on the size and weight of the wheelchair)

Assistance

  • Assistance dogs are always welcome
  • With our offers, we usually offer work assistance or mobility assistance on site after prior registration

Language Accessibility

  • We usually offer German spoken language – German sign language (DGS) interpreting for our services after prior registration

  • Interpreting of difficult language – easy language is also usually possible after prior registration

  • For international events, we offer peer-to-peer translation after prior registration

Visual Accessibility

  • High-contrast design of the studio and equipment, room signage also as relief and in Braille
  • Peer-to-peer audio description is usually possible after prio registration

Relaxed Atmosphere

Unsere Angebote finden meist relaxed statt. Das bedeutet:

Our offers are mostly relaxed. This means that

  • All forms of attention in the room are welcome
  • Moving, lying down, leaving the room and coming back is possible
    Various seating options (beanbags, chairs, mats)
  • Various materials for relaxation (stimtoys, Pilates rollers, hedgehog balls…)
    Drinks and snacks
  • There is no relaxation room. There is the possibility to retreat to the garden.

Travel

  • The barrier-free Lenauplatz stop on KVB line 5 (Dom / Hbf – Ossendorf) is located in the immediate vicinity (100 m away) of the Hosterstraße 1-5 building. We will be happy to pick you up there if required.

  • The departure times of the KVB (public transportation) can be found here: Departure times (KVB)

  • 3 in-house disabled parking spaces in front of the door

  • 1 additional disabled parking space of the city of Cologne around the corner

Directions to Un-Label

With line 5 (coming from the city center and the main station) Stop: Lenauplatz

The train stops on a slightly raised central island between a two-lane road. You have two options to get to Un-label:

  1. Get off and walk against the direction of travel to the left to cross the road with traffic lights.
  2. Walk down a slight incline and turn 90° to the left at the bottom. There is a set of traffic lights which you cross.
  3. On the other side of the road, walk about 15 meters to the left, where you will pass a savings bank machine on your right. Shortly afterwards, cross Hosterstraße.
  4. Turn right into Hosterstraße. The Un-Label building is on the left-hand side. There is a bicycle stand on the left-hand side in front of the entrance to the studio.
  5. If you want to go to the Un-Label office, go straight on for about 15 meters from the entrance to the studio. There is a ramp to the office entrance on your left.

Or

  1. Get out of the car and walk in the direction of travel to the right to cross the road without traffic lights.
  2. Walk down a slight incline and turn 90° to the right at the bottom. There is a road there which you cross.
  3. After crossing the road, turn right again. After about 15 meters, turn left into Hosterstraße.
  4. The Un-Label building is on the left-hand side. There is a bicycle stand on the left-hand side in front of the entrance to the studio.
  5. If you want to go to the Un-Label office, go straight on for about 15 meters from the entrance to the studio. There is a ramp to the office entrance on your left.
