WORKSHOP:acting with Leonard Grobien
20 September 2026: In this one-day workshop, you’ll gain an authentic insight into the world of theatre: under the guidance of actor and filmmaker Leonard Grobien, you’ll discover the basics of acting through simple exercises and learn how to bring emotions, stories and characters to life on stage. An introductory workshop for people with disabilities who are interested in acting.
Further training: Sign language in the performing arts
25 September, 2026, at Un-Label Studio Cologne: Create accessible culture with sign language! In this training course with Rafael-Evitan Grombelka and Konstanze Bustian, you will learn how interpreters can be successfully integrated into performative processes, how to reach potential deaf visitors, and what appropriate, respectful communication with them and with deaf artists and colleagues can look like.

LABOR: A Multisensory Guidance System for the Orangerie Theater
June 16, 2026: How can as many people as possible find their way around public spaces? The “LABOR:leitsysteme” project, a collaboration between Un-Label, the Technical University of Cologne, and the Orangerie Theater, is developing a multisensory wayfinding system for the theater grounds. On June 16, students will present their prototypes at the Orangerie Theater. Everybody who’s interested is welcome!

Creative Lab ‘Artistic practice shaped by disabled experience’
7–10 May 2026, at the Academy of Cultural Education in Remscheid: With renowned speakers like Jo Verrent from the outstanding disabled-led arts organization Unlimited (UK), internationally acclaimed artist, performer and Deaf coach Eyk Kauly (D), Laura Guthrie and Hana Pascal Keegan from the celebrated disabled-led theater company GRAEAE (UK), and Dr. Kate Marsh (UK), disabled dancer, lecturer, and researcher with 20 years of expertise.

On 24 April 2026 online: An introduction to questions of collaboration between disabled and non-disabled team members. The training is aimed at cultural organizations and cultural professionals with and without disabilities who want to reflect on their practices and develop more inclusive working models.

On 1 March 2026, the Community Music workshop invites people of all ages to explore sounds, improvise, and bring musical ideas to life together in an open, inclusive space – your own instruments are welcome, and loan instruments are available.
Workshop „Electric Kitchen”
On 28 February 206, the workshop “Electric Kitchen” invites people with and without musical experience to experiment together in an inclusive setting with electronic and analogue sounds, which will be collected and mixed live, and presented like a musical menu.
