The training covers the basics of working with groups with different disabilities and accessibility needs. It teaches how to establish an inclusive working culture before, during, and after a theater education program. The theoretical part of the training will include an introduction to the spectrum of disability perspectives and possible accessibility needs, Crip Time (time from a disabled perspective), and key elements of a relaxed program. In the practical part, we will through joint play explore good practice exercises that have emerged from the working practice of inclusive groups, and investigate how we can put the theoretical foundations of inclusive education into practice.

This training is aimed at theater educators, mediators, and directors who want to learn about principles for working with inclusive groups, reflect on their own methods with regard to barriers, and develop strategies for inclusive working methods.

The training takes place in a relaxed atmosphere. All forms of attention in the room are welcome. You can move around, lie down, bring and use your stim toys, leave the room and come back again. Various seating and lying options will be available (beanbags, chairs, mats), as well as drinks and snacks.
