On 3 March 2027, we are finally inviting you once again, together with kubia, to our next major ALL IN Symposium, this time in Essen at PACT Zollverein! Under the title ‘Inclusive culture, accessibility and participation in the face of headwinds: our progress – our responsibility’, we will be taking stock:
What has changed in inclusive cultural work since the movement began ten years ago? Where is progress currently under pressure, and what political decisions are needed now to ensure that individual projects develop into sustainable structures?
Across three sessions, featuring keynote speeches, moderated discussions and parallel workshops on art, institutions, democracy, funding, expression and social movements, we will explore how culture can function as part of democratic infrastructure and what new partnerships are needed between politics, institutional culture, the independent arts scene and civil society to achieve this.
We are delighted that Jürgen Dusel, Federal Commissioner for the Affairs of People with Disabilities, will be opening the symposium with a keynote address. Also taking part are the activist and author Raúl Krauthausen, Member of the Bundestag Helge Lindh, and Barbara Mundel, Artistic Director of the Münchner Kammerspiele. We will be announcing further speakers from the worlds of politics, culture and self-advocacy shortly.
