In their “Relaxed Performances”, Jess Thom and Matthew Pountney, the two artistic directors of Touretteshero, break the unspoken convention of sitting and being still in the theatre. In doing so, they make it possible for many people to visit the theatre in the first place. In the digital workshop, they give an introduction to the concept of “Relaxed Performances”. In addition, the workshop offers a platform to exchange ideas about basic guiding principles of inclusion and accessibility in theatre. The target group of the event are theatre professionals from the independent scene and employees of state and municipal theatres in North Rhine-Westphalia.
