ALL IN: Quality and Opening up of cultural work through inclusion
International Symposium
3 – 4 May 2016 // FORUM Volkshochschule im Kulturquartier (Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum), Cologne.
Inclusive cultural projects venture beyond the familiar and can lead to a very special positive experience of diversity. This symposium deals with the question of how inclusion can be well designed in cultural practice and how cultural institutions and operators can open up to the diversity of abilities.
The symposium will present the results of a scientific study accompanying the inclusive pilot project inklu:City and the EU’s cultural project Un-Label. There will be major and minor discussion panels with both project participants and (inter)national experts and artists. Workshops and samples given during the “Sommerblut” cultural festival will help you get an idea of the methods used in inclusive cultural practice.
This event is aimed at artists and cultural operators as well as experts with practical and scientific backgrounds.
