About 4.0
4.0 is an inclusive event series that brings together digital art and electronic music!
By integrating the sensory perception of deaf people, digital artists and DJs use real-time visualisations to transform music from house to techno into moving images and fluid structures. These live visuals are projected onto walls, turning the club into an immersive experience space.
Consisting of a three-part series of audiovisual events in Cologne and Frankfurt, the project, developed by musician Désirée Hall, explores social boundaries through an artistic and media-based approach and creates a unique meeting place for Deaf and hearing people. Together with the captivating music and its rich beats, this creates a whole new experience for a diverse audience.
This project was developed by musician Désirée Hall in cooperation with Un-Label and was awarded the arts and culture prize The Power of the Arts 2023/2024.

The event locations are wheelchair accessible.
