This year’s award focuses on organisations that actively promote democracy and combat discrimination. With its projects, Un-Label is therefore recognised as one of the initiatives in Germany that PHINEO considers to be particularly effective and sustainable.
Through our nationwide model project Access Maker – Innovation Hub, we create inclusive cultural spaces. We offer training, qualification programmes and consultancy, foster dialogue skills, awareness of equality and a human-rights-based mindset, and support people with disabilities in claiming their rights. In this way, participation, democratic engagement and creative innovation directly contribute to social change.
For us, the PHINEO “Wirkt-Siegel” is an important recognition of our work. At a time when diversity-building measures are increasingly being questioned and drastically cut back, this seal confirms that Access Maker is on the right path. Our commitment – artistic, social and political – is making an impact. Now it is time to consistently continue and further develop our work.
