Together with the European Arts & Disability Cluster, we have written a policy paper for more inclusion in the different cultural programs of the European Union, which will be approved in the coming weeks for the next eight years (2021 – 2027). In this final phase of negotiation, the European Arts & Disability Cluster calls on policy makers to commit themselves to ensuring that inclusion and access are identified as key priorities of the new cultural activities of future EU programs and that they incorporate in a more holistic way participation by people with disabilities on an equal basis with others, be that as cultural professionals, audiences, viewers or visitors.

The institutions represented in the Cluster include disabled peoples’ organisations in the arts and cultural sector with decades of expertise, alongside some of Europe’s leading performing arts venues, festivals, companies. We represent grassroots micro-businesses through to major cultural institutions as well as freelance artists and arts professionals.
