The international cultural project Un-label will see about 100 artists with and without disabilities from all over Europe deal with new inclusive and innovative ways of performing arts.

    Artistic residence

16 artists are selected from the pool of artists who participated in the workshops that have been held in the various countries and these 16 artists were part of the 4-week artistic residence in Germany in April 2016.
Using the ideas and inputs of each participating artist as a starting point, this mixed-abled, interdisciplinary company of international artists coming from Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Sweden, Turkey and UK developed concrete motifs and scenes for a multidisciplinary performance in workshops and experimental spaces. The goal was to spark off an artistic and social discussion on inclusion, based on the personal experiences and creative implementations of each participating artist.
The result is the joint development of a multi-disciplinary production on a high artistic level which incorporates the cross-genre art forms of dance, drama, aerials, music, video art and poetry to reflect the diversity of the participating artists.

With the subsequent performances at internationally renowned festivals in Germany, Turkey and Greece we will reach a wide audience so that a discussion on the topics of otherness and inclusion in performing arts will be sparked off on a both international and societal level.
