Free initial consultation

As part of the nationwide project Access Maker – Innovationshub we offer free initial consultations from August 2024 to June 2027 on topics related to inclusion and accessibility for cultural organizations, artistic ensembles, cultural professionals, and cultural funders in Germany. Consultations can be conducted by phone or via Zoom.

Consultation for Cultural Professionals/Cultural Organizations on the following topics:

  • Accessibility for visitors with disabilities
  • Accessibility for artists with disabilities
  • Inclusive program design
  • Accessible communication of cultural programmes
  • Consultation on acquiring funding for accessibility
  • Connecting with practitioners and networks in inclusive cultural work
  • Spatial accessibility

Consultation for Cultural Funders on the following topics:

  • Funding measures
  • Accessible calls for proposals
  • Cost calculation for accessibility
  • Connecting with practitioners and networks in inclusive cultural work

Accessibility

If needed, we also offer consultations with interpretation in German Sign Language (DGS) and German Easy Language.

Booking Conditions

  • Appointments must be booked at least 3 days in advance.
  • Cancellation period: 24 hours before the appointment.
  • In case of rescheduling, the same deadlines apply for rebooking.g
  • In the event of a no appearance without prior timely cancellation, a fee of €50.00 will be charged. VAT may also apply.

Booking Conditions for Accessible Consultation

  • Appointments with DGS interpretation or German Easy Language interpretation must be booked at least 4 weeks in advance.
  • Cancellation period: 2 weeks.
  • In case of rescheduling, the same deadlines apply for rebooking.
  • In the event of a no appearance without prior timely cancellation, a fee of €50.00 will be charged. VAT may also apply.
  • Additionally, a fee of €85.00 will be charged for DGS interpretation or Easy Language interpretation. VAT may also apply.
