Creative Labs
Our Creative Labs bring together selected international experts of the inclusive cultural sector and budding artists with and without disabilities from various genres.
We are confident that cultural diversity makes art more interesting, innovative and meaningful.
For us, as one of the most innovative European actors in inclusive practice, international exchange is essential to identify and remove barriers and to further promote equality in the field of performing arts.
At our Creative Labs, successful examples from practice are presented by experts and analyzed by participants to gain an overview of existing applications of accessibility in the arts.
Previous contributors include: Tate Gallery – Marcus Dickey Horley, Battersea Arts Centre – Tarek Iskander and Cat Sheridan, Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm – Lea Gockel, Ben Glover, Claire Cunningham, Julie McNamara, Jess Thom, Kaite O’Reilly, Max Greyson, Nickie Miles-Wildin, Ruth Fabby, Candoco Dance Company, Drake Music and Jonathan Meth, Graeae, Mind the Gap – Joyce Nga Yu Lee and Paul Wilshaw, NCN Small Theatre, Oriente Occidente Festival, Panthea, Share Music & Performing Arts, Staatstheater Augsburg – David Ortmann, Münchner Kammerspiele – Nele Jahnke and Maja Polk…
The results and experiences of these international exchanges are in turn incorporated into our projects, masterclasses, workshops, consulting and performances to enrich them with new creative approaches to inclusion in the performing arts.
