Born and raised in D\u00fcsseldorf, Patrick Waldmann studied Film and Television Cinematography at the FH Dortmund under Adolf Winkelmann, Klaus Helle, and Axel Block. After graduating, he initially worked as a cinematographer on music videos, feature films, and documentaries \u2013 collaborating with, among others, Esther Gronenborn, Martin Walz, Christian Theede, Christoph Schlingensief, and G\u00fcnter Wallraff.<\/p>\n

Today, depending on the requirements and scope of each project, he works as executive producer, director, and cinematographer on documentary formats for Arte, WDR, ZDF, and ARD.<\/p>\n
