INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ALL IN
ALL IN: QUALITY AND OPENING UP TO CULTURAL WORK BY INCLUSION
03. – 04.05.2016 // FORUM Volkshochschule im Kulturquartier (Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum), Cologne
Inclusive cultural projects go beyond the constraints of what is supposed to be usual and can lead to a very special experience of diversity. This symposium deals with the question of how inclusion can be presented in a qualitative manner in cultural practice and how cultural policy, cultural institutions and actors can open up to the diversity of abilities.
This symposium will offer a presentation of the results of a scientific study accompanying the inclusive model project inklu:City and the EU’s cultural project Un-Label. There will be extended and also smaller talk rounds with both project participants and (inter)national experts and artists. Workshops and samples as part of the “Sommerblut” cultural festival will invite you to get an idea of the methods practised in the inclusive cultural practice.
This event is aimed at artists and cultural actors as well as experts from practice and science.
